Credits
How usage is measured
- One credit equals $0.01 of usage.
- Hosted AI is priced from the provider's measured token cost, including tool calls, cached input and reasoning output. There is no flat per-message charge.
- Credits are reserved before a job and settled on measured usage. Unused reservations are returned.
- Agent chat reserves up to 60 credits per turn (120 for Claude Opus). Each scheduled run reserves 120 and states its execution cap before you save it.
- Sandboxed browser and code runs are charged from the actual compute they use.
- If a provider's outcome is uncertain, the hold stays open for reconciliation instead of being silently refunded or retried.

Terms worth knowing before you start
- The trial needs a card. It converts to $49.99/month unless canceled before it ends.
- Trial credits are granted once per identity and are not refilled.
- Team members invited to an existing workspace use that team's subscription.
- Lifetime-deal benefits cover legacy assistants, not the agent workspace.
- Credit packs, extra client and connection packs, and white-label resale are not on sale yet.
- Valid BYOK covers model usage only. Browser, voice, media and outreach resources keep their own charges.
- Performance-fee statements run in test mode and are never invoiced today.
- Prices and allowances apply to the current plans. Existing subscriptions are not repriced.

Pricing questions
Do I need a card to start the trial?
Yes. The 7-day trial requires a card and includes 300 usage credits. It converts to Personal at $49.99/month unless you cancel before it ends. If you have already used a trial, you subscribe without another one.
What happens to trial credits when the trial ends?
Trial credits are granted once and expire with the trial. They are not refilled. Paid months then include the allowance for your plan.
Do unused monthly credits stack up?
No. Included credits belong to the trial or billing cycle that granted them, so allowances do not accumulate month over month.
What does bring-your-own-key (BYOK) cover?
With a validated model API key in your workspace, LLM usage on your plan's features costs no platform credits, including assistants. Only the model verified with your key is enabled, and there is no silent fallback to a platform key. Sandboxed browser, voice, media and outreach resources are still charged separately.
I joined a teammate's workspace. Do I need my own subscription?
No. A verified team invitation uses the team's subscription and budget. Team members don't start a separate trial.
I have a lifetime deal or an older plan. What changes?
Lifetime and code-based benefits remain available for Versabot assistants. They don't fund the newer agent workspace, which needs a subscription or trial.
Can I buy extra credits?
Not yet. Credit packs and paid add-ons are not on sale. If you need more included usage, upgrade your plan from billing.
